I was given a Lenovo ThinkPad T410 that had a bad fan in it, which seems to be something of a common thing with this model.
Keep all communication public, on the subreddit.
I checked all internet options and set as default and i never changed any settings.
I have a feeling that there's something wrong with the hard drive as that part of the laptop makes noises while i'm trying to boot it.
So far I reseated the keyboard and left the CMOS battery unplugged (did not replace) for a night.
