This had been a PITA for me. The only thing I can give you for more information of what was going on when it happened is that it was working and then I left the computer for a I have no idea what happened... A CCM membership gives you access to additional options. the sound is ON on my pc because if I record it records sound but I cant hear... I did have a bad virus fairly recently where they had to wipe out the entire computer, but the anti-virus has said I have not had any viruses since then. I got home from work today and my sound was working I fell asleep for an hour and a half and when I woke up it was no longer working. I am using windows xp as an operating system. right clicked and test, the make it the default, thanks SO much. and it says I do not have any viruses. Sound Not Working Mac so I tried going into the device manager but I really wasn't sure what I was suppose to do when I got there. I don't know what else you might need to know but if you need something just ask...
