I also find a touchpad regularly thinks I'm pinching to zoom when the only time I use that gesture is when I'm using Google Maps. I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 and had a minor driver issue which I decided to talk with a support rep about before I did something on my own. But, I don't think it will help, becase under Windows 10, I have tried several different versions of the driver, all with the same result.
