I can't see this as a power supply problem but you never know. Please try again later. Possible you will have to remove heat sink, clean both surfaces and apply fresh thermal paste and reinstall heat sink. If that's not the problem, drop into your BIOS menu and let it idle on the PC health section for a while.

Max temp for the AMD Athlon on my XPS 7100 was 62 C and that took a torture test like Prime 95 or ripping a video. I checked thoroughly to make sure the fan is secure.
