Any attempt to display 1920 by 1080 on my TV results in my TV telling me to switch to 1600 by 1200 because the video mode is not supported. 1920 by The Power Gauge on the task bar is just ugly. http://megathud.com/windows-10/t500-wakes-from-sleep-on-lid-open.html

By and large my system is A1 with no hitches. Never got the fingerprint reader to work on the T400, has anyone else? Answer: Just do a BIOS reset. • Make sure you have your wireless switchin ON position, butDO NOT CONNECT to any Wi-Fi network and unplug the network cable before installation.
  • Right now, before I send it in a couple days, I want to back up the data on my hard drive.

  • Hooray!
  • I think the UI looked so much better than Windows 10.
  • I'd like to see figures for how many people upgraded, and from those how many kept Win10.
  • I really do miss the Aero interface in Windows 7.
  • Reply Gordon October 15, 2015 at 10:17 am # I gave it a week and downgraded too.
  • This has been driving me crazy and none of the other explainations helped.
  • I tried putting in a windows 7 OS CD, but that didn't work either.

Reply Kentzee September 7, 2015 at 8:18 pm # Hey Stefan, yeh i ddn't like it @ first but actually grew used to it… the charms bar does come in handy… I worked with Windows for 15 years, but luckily in 2010 switched over to Mac. Windows 10 is not officially supported by Lenovo on those machines, so keep that in mind.

I had been asleep, and happened to wake up and checked on it, noticing it was exhibiting activity that it wasn't previously.

I installed Windows 7 RC x64 to my lenovo T500 (2082-53G) and when I install the ATI catalyst beta driver x64 v9.6 from ATI's homepage, my computer freezes at startup (some it's now 2016, and that same Mac is still running without ANY issues. It's on Windows 7 (rolled back from Windows 10) and I use it for watching TV and installing software on smartphones that don't play nice with Linux. The shutdown would then automatically change to a reboot - and I got the same error when I then tried to shutdown once more.

Initially I did this just to digitally sign the mobo to W 10 and the installs went smoothly. Every time I restart my PC it comes up with the DeYoung account saying that I've entered the wrong password, even the trs10 password doesn't work. There were some nice touches, but mostly frustration. weblink Then let Win 10 install its video driver.

Please help. With integrated graphics it can be tamed using TP fan control. But I hear that is going to be addressed in a forthcoming update. Apart from many great features it brought, some are very controversial. i am considering Mint. That being said I wish Rainmeter was as configurable as conky. I've had overheating issues with the T400 on both Windows 8.1 and 10, I think the fact that there are no officially-supported Lenovo power management drivers/UI tools for anything past Win7 I had gone to bed.
